On 24 July 2013:
2 nights ago, Daddy and Mama puts Miea to bed. Usually, when we're at home, when we put her to bed, there's a bedtime story, sing bedtime song and doa. Then, we'll get out of the room so that she can sleep (she'll ask us to get out so she can sleep). Within 10 minutes, she'll be in dreamland. Since 2 months ago, the whole family's been living at Miea's grandparent's house because of Daddy's accident. So, we've only been back home less than 7 days.
For the last 3 days that we're back, she fell asleep in the car before reaching the house. But that night, something unusual happened. We tucked her in and went out but when we went to check on her, to our surprise, we found her crying...
Daddy: Miea...why are you crying?
Miea: I sowwy...Daddy...I sowwy...I don't know what I do...I sowwy
Mama: Miea...do you feel that Mama and Daddy didn't love you?
Miea: (nodded) I sowwy...I don't know what I do...
Mama & Daddy: Miea...you didn't do anything wrong...we love you...you want us to sleep here with you?
Miea: (nodded and smiled immediately) Mama and Daddy...Miea baring tengah (Miea sleeps in the middle)
It turns out, now that we're back in our own house, that routine has been totally forgotten and she sees it as a punishment, instead of something that she usually does.
Oh my little Miea...Now Mama waits until you're fully asleep before going anywhere....
Now Mama's thinking...what other routine have you forgotten and to start anew?
